I will praise thee oh lord

In Psalms, chapter nine, verses one to two, the requirement of praise is vital at the heart of every believer’s relationship with God. The answer is self-explanatory in a song, “I will bless thee, Oh Lord.”

I Will Bless Thee, Oh Lord,
I Will Bless Thee, Oh Lord;
With A Heart Of Thanksgiving,
I Will Bless Thee, Oh Lord.

With My Hands Lifted Up
And My Mouth Filled With Praise;
With A Heart Of Thanksgiving,
I Will Bless Thee, Oh Lord.

Bless is also to praise, according to the synonym. Therefore, if we substitute bless with praise, it will look and sound the same in the song.

I Will Praise Thee, Oh Lord,
I Will Praise Thee, Oh Lord;
With A Heart Of Thanksgiving,
I Will Praise Thee, Oh Lord.

With My Hands Lifted Up
And My Mouth Filled With Praise;
With A Heart Of Thanksgiving,
I Will Praise Thee, Oh Lord.

The relationship between spouses, family, and close friends will require some compliments now and then to continue to enjoy the union together. However, God, who made us, and the believers who claim to serve Him, will praise Him continually. For example, in the union between husband and wife, if there is only order and no praise, the relationship will not last because one side will not be as loving and caring as the other. The marriage fails because one side is not affectionate enough, and eventually, the passion is no longer there.
The relationship between the believer and God begins with the servant. They invite God into their lives, and what happens next? We learn and know that God loves us from the beginning and sacrificed His Son, Jesus Christ, to put us in a position to have a relationship with Him, so the proof is already there.
On the other hand, believers who have a close-knit relationship with God will have a heart of praise and thanksgiving. Their hands are lifted in honor of the Almighty God and compliment Him for who He is and all His marvelous works done on their behalf. Overall, this is the attitude all believers should have daily. However, if you intend to do this, you must be aware that someone watching will try to stop that happiness and flow toward God, so be alert!
Those who do not praise God are the ones who do not read God’s Word and ask Him for things and what they want but do not desire Him. The Lord already knows these people, so many will try other means of success and turn around and proclaim God did it, which is not so.
