Speaking all the Lord commanded

In Jeremiah, chapter twenty-six, verse eight, “Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the Lord had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.” Because of Jeremiah’s proclamation from the word of the Lord, the religious establishment (the priests and false prophets) seized Jeremiah and demanded his death. Religious leaders are often the ones who consistently oppose those who call for a return to Biblical faith and genuine righteousness; this was true in Jesus’ day, and it will also be true in the last days before His return.
Today, religious people will not endure sound doctrine, as in Isaiah thirty, verse ten, “Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits.” These people could not bear to hear prophetic words that condemn their lifestyle. Some religious people grow tired of hearing about God and the holy lifestyle that He requires. They wanted to hear only encouraging, pleasant, and inoffensive messages. The apostle Paul states that in the last days, a similar state of mind will prevail among some within the churches.
Parents who are raising their children, as they continue to grow, discover something they learn and do, and the father and mother know it is wrong, will they not discipline them? Or will they allow them to continue in that manner? God expects all who are saved through His Son, Jesus Christ, to follow the Word and be obedient to it. The believers who are faithful to God and have a relationship with Him will know if the word that is ministered to them comes from God or not.
