The Gentiles shall come

In Jeremiah, chapter sixteen, verse nineteen, “O Lord, my strength and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.” Jeremiah foresaw a day when the nations of the earth would come and worship the Lord and renounce their false gods as worthless idols, as in Isaiah two, verses one through four, chapter forty-five, verse fourteen, and Zechariah eight, verses twenty to twenty-three.
