Whither shall I go from thy spirit?

In Psalm hundred thirty-nine, verses seven through twelve, the child of God can never move beyond God’s care, guidance, and supporting strength. He is with us in all situations, whatever the present and the future bring.
The child of God who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Savior must live according to His Word. Like a marriage union, once a person confesses those vows (the sinner’s prayer), especially in public at church, where the witnesses and everyone that knows them, first and foremost, God, in whom the confession was made, in open view, must abide by His Word until the end of time. However, God does not force anyone to serve Him. The believer must faithfully and daily follow the Lord.
The theme title expresses that no saint can hide from God. Jonah, who tries to flee from the Lord, as in chapter one, verse three, “But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.” In Summary, Jonah ends up inside a fish or a whale. Eventually, Jonah had to return to the Lord and do His will. However, not all people get a second chance when they decide to become backsliders or turn away from God and from the straight and narrow way.
Judas, one of the twelve disciples, betrayed Jesus Christ for money. He could not resume being one of the twelve because he allowed his heart to sin against the Lord. Because of sin, Judas could no longer live with himself. Jesus knew what Judas was doing. Yet he did it anyway despite being caught.
