Virtuous woman crown to her husband

In Proverbs, chapter twelve, verse four, the most significant human relationship we will ever have is with a wife or husband. A good spouse will help bring happiness, joy, and success, while a bad spouse will cause much sorrow and misery. When seeking a marriage partner, we should consider the person’s character and their commitment to Christ and His standards of holy living so that we do not marry the wrong person and suffer a lifetime of regret.
“A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.” The theme verse here also may apply to the man. Why is marriage the most serious relationship for both the man and the woman? The answer is that it will decide the future legacy that will continue after us. The next generation will realize and understand their inheritance or heritage as they mature in life.
“Who can find a virtuous woman?” This verse is the beginning of Proverbs thirty-one, verse ten. “For her price is far above rubies” is the second part of the same verse. A ruby is a pink-red gemstone that is a popular traditional jewelry gemstone known for its durability. The price of a ruby may range between one hundred to fifteen thousand dollars or more based on weight and other characteristics.
A ruby has a price, but a virtuous woman is priceless, far above this gem. A crown to her husband is this lady who will potentially be the mother and spouse to the future life of this married man. The character of both couples involved together, whether godly or ungodly, will determine the destiny and outcome of the forthcoming generation. A virtuous spouse is someone complete, lacking nothing. To have that would be God’s molding and involvement.
