Thy word hath quickened me

In Psalm one hundred and nineteen, verse fifty, God has ordained that His Word, made powerful by His Spirit, will bring comfort, hope, and strength to His faithful as we experience trouble and sorrow. Because God’s Word is living and active, as in Hebrews four, verse twelve, it has the power to revive and restore us who abide in it, and God, as in John fourteen, verse twenty-seven. When in trouble, turn to the Lord and His Word and wait for His Spirit to impart His life and peace to you, as in Philippians four, verses six to nine.
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” This verse is from Psalm one hundred and nineteen, verse one hundred and five. Believers who stay in tune with the holy scriptures will follow the narrow way that will lead to eternal life. Matthew seven, verse fourteen, states, “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” The people who honor God and the scriptures and obey them.
On the other hand, those who do not follow or reject what the scriptures say in the holy Bible follow another word that is not of God. “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat.” The unbelievers or ungodly will be following another word from the world. Is it a coincidence that if the letter “l” is removed from the name world, it spells the name word? The letter “l” represents life, living, and love, which is what it comes down to.
Quickened is being hasty, which means not hesitating but going in that direction.
