Thy precepts

In Psalms, chapter one hundred and nineteen, verse four, God’s precepts involve detailed instruction from the Lord. A precept is a law, a rule of behavior, and how a believer should act. The previous theme from verse three complies with today’s scripture, “They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.” The first three verses will enable the believer to follow the precepts.
To recap from verse one of Psalms hundred and nineteen, the undefiled is the righteous that lives to do right, act, and talk godly. They meditate on His Word to stay sharp in righteousness and pray or communicate with God daily to keep on the narrow path. They are the people that walk in the ways of God. These believers also do not sin and stay on the godly course of living. The testimonies in verse two are the scriptures to meditate on and be a doer of them.
The precepts are the law, which is also a commandment. Most people are aware of the Ten Commandments in the Bible. However, how many believers remember them? Even check to see if they are keeping them. Still, anyone can keep these commandments and still not serve or even know Him.
Precepts in Nehemiah nine, verse fourteen, under Ezra’s prayer, are introduced here: where God’s people separated themselves from all strangers and confessed their sins in verse two. A believer knowing the precepts is one thing, but keeping them is another. The theme verse at the end mentions diligently. For people of God to keep His precepts shall be a courageous effort. The enemy will attempt to exercise every scheme to make believers fail to uphold God’s Word.
Other verses on precepts are mostly in Psalms hundred and nineteen. Then from verses forty, forty-five, fifty-six, sixty-three, sixty-nine, seventy-eight, eighty-seven, ninety-three, ninety-four, one hundred, hundred and four, hundred and ten, hundred and twenty-eight, hundred and thirty-four, hundred and forty-one, hundred and fifty-nine, hundred and sixty-eight, and hundred and seventy-three, respectively. Each verses show how much of a challenge for the believer to uphold the precepts.
