this is the day

In Psalms, chapter hundred and eighteen, verse twenty-four, the context shows the day referred to here is a day of salvation or redemption. There is a song made from the theme verse that is self-explanatory:

This is the day, this is the day,

That the Lord has made, that the Lord has made.

We will rejoice, we will rejoice.

And be glad in it and be glad in it.

This is the day that the Lord has made,

We will rejoice, and be glad in it.

Oh, this is the day, this is the day,

That the Lord has made.

This is the day” is titled for today’s theme and may refer to the Sabbath, the Lord’s day. However, some religious people have discrepancies over the day, whether on Saturday or Sunday. On the other hand, “This is the day” depends on the approach to it when it arrives. As the song above declares, God made the day to come for now until He comes. How you welcome it depends upon the one who lives it.

The most challenging aspect for a believer or anyone is attitude. The outlook will set the tone of the day for the person. If the individual begins the day happy, they probably will have a happy day. On the other hand, if they start by feeling grumpy then it might be a miserable one. To be determined to rejoice no matter what the day and be glad in it will be the ultimate challenge for believers because the enemy will devise a plan to break that approach down with his mischievous ways. The evil one will use deception, distraction, and delays to irritate anybody. Specifically, those who are strong in the Lord because the devil is a strategist and will do anything to disrupt.
