In Proverbs five, verse twenty-one, one reason this book in the Old Testament gives for resisting sexual sins is that God sees and knows our ungodly ways, as in chapter fifteen, verse three, “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.” Other verses are Job thirty-one, verse four, Job thirty-four, verse twenty-one, and Jeremiah sixteen, verse seventeen. God will judge us accordingly, as in Malachi three, verse five, “And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.” Because our activities are “before the eyes of the Lord,” no one guilty of adultery will escape its terrible consequences.
“They are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth,” in the latter part of Zechariah four, verse ten. God sees all the evil done under the sun by each person He has made and lives upon it. There is a time when justice is served before the end of life for some people because of their wicked actions upon others and society. God makes the way for them to be caught so justice be served. However, the Lord cannot be blamed for those who do such activity because those evil people are under the influence of Satan carrying out his plan and devices to oppose the godly ways of living. These people who do not accept or serve God reject or rebel against Him. Their evil intentions and actions are their choice and people should not blame God.
