The Lord hath blessed His people

In Second Chronicles, chapter thirty-one, verse ten, sowing generously into God’s house and kingdom will bring an abundant harvest of God’s blessings. Are we willing to give generously of our means for God’s work and ministry, locally and abroad, as First Corinthians nine, verse fourteen and Philippians four, verses fifteen through eighteen? Unwillingness to do so is a sign that our love for God and His cause is less than complete. God wants us to serve Him, not money, as in Matthew six, verse twenty-four.
The difference between those who receive abundant blessings from God more than others who receive not so much but do serve God is the heart. The heart is where the potential love for God and other people dwells. First of all, all believers who serve the Lord with gladness and come into His presence with a delightful heart are the ones who seem to receive more than other fellow Christians. An old song that starts:
Happy, happy, happy,
Happy in the Lord.
Keeping God’s commandments,
Trusting in His Word.
I want you to know,
God’s promise is true.
That is why I am happy,
Happy in the Lord.
The believers who lived according to this old song demonstrate the example of love, honor, and cherish. Many believers fall short of abundant blessings because their minds are more focused on what God can do than the Almighty One Himself. God knows the heart of His people and those who love Him and genuinely go out of their way to bless others with love and cheerfully give to help those in need. No matter how hard a person attempts to use their brain on God to see if they can get their way. God sees right through every person. After all, He made us.
The Lord does bless His people on all levels. However, there will continue to be those who will receive more blessings than others because of their commitment to God. The blessed ones strive to please God and not themselves. The Lord sees the heart and rewards accordingly.
