In Proverbs, chapter five, verse three, the book of Proverbs repeatedly warns about the destructiveness of sexual sins. Solomon emphasizes that the pleasures of sexual sins are deceptively attractive. Giving in to them will lead to ruin, as in verses seven through fourteen of this theme chapter. Violations of God’s standards of sexual purity and chastity are in Proverbs three. Also, the scriptures are in Proverbs two, verses sixteen through nineteen, and Proverbs six, verses twenty to thirty-five, respectively.
Other scriptures continue in Proverbs twenty-two, verse fourteen. Proverbs twenty-three, verses twenty-seven to twenty-eight. Proverbs twenty-nine, verse three. Proverbs thirty, verse twenty, and Proverbs thirty-one, verse three, respectively.
The alternative to sexual immorality is listening to God and His Word, as in verse one, being careful and discreet in all relationships, as in verse two, having discipline and restraint before marriage, and fulfilling natural sexual desire through a holy love life in marriage.
The theme verse under the Warning against Unchastity section expresses the dangers associated with carnality, which leads to sin, and the control of the devil in the lives of young people or the elderly in general. The test begins with the theme title concerning the lips of the stranger, whether man or woman, to entice the believer or unbeliever into the territory of the unknown to those who are not aware or mature enough to understand the consequences of sexual immorality. Today, young people are taken advantage of by those who are mature enough and have the evil intention to deceive the innocent. The victims get tricked into situations they did not see coming by the lips of the stranger who deceptively plans their way into the lives of people that get ruined, where many never get a chance to live life as God had planned for them.
