Teach me they way O Lord

In Psalms, chapter eighty-six, verse eleven, amid affliction and trouble, the psalmist humbly asks God to teach him His ways and His truth, that he might fear God from the heart. When experiencing trials and difficulties, we must cry out to God for wisdom to walk in His ways and for a heart that fears and delights in His truth.
The theme under the Prayer for Deliverance section expresses the significance of learning the Lord’s ways so that we can live according to His Word. John one, verses one to three, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made.” To know God is to read, study, and be a doer of it to live the godly life.
On the other hand for the Lord to teach His people, the believer must daily be in connection with God through reading, studying, and meditating on His Word, even a verse because He honors His Word above His name. In Psalms one hundred and thirty-eight, verse two, “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” Therefore, God is attentive when He hears the Word from the saints and will do His will accordingly. However, the scriptures can only be effective if the believer is a doer of the Word when it tells us specific things concerning how we are to live with Him, family, neighbors, and other brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. Obedience is better than sacrifice. Not doing what the scriptures say will not result in it not happening.
