Seemeth right

In Proverbs, chapter fourteen, verse twelve, humanistic wisdom is a poor basis for determining what is true and what is false, right or wrong, worthy or unworthy. God’s written revelation is the only infallible source for deciding the right path of life. The human way has in it the seeds of death; God’s way leads to eternal life.

The theme verse, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one, as in Romans three, verse ten. All human beings learn things from different people in different places. However, that does not determine what is right and wrong, true or false, good or bad. Today, the world has changed because what we think is bad may be deemed good by another person and vice versa.

Righteous art thou, O LORD, and upright are thy judgments, as in Psalms one hundred and nineteen, verse one hundred and thirty-seven. God and His holy Word are the only way to know the difference between what is right and wrong, true or false, good and evil, through the Son of God. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me,” as in John fourteen, verse six. Many people talk about God, recite scriptures, and claim they know Him but do not have a personal relationship with Him. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life,” as in John three, verse sixteen.

Anyone who desires to know the truth: ask Jesus to come into your heart today. “I am a sinner and need you to save me today. Lord Jesus, wash me from my sins. I believe you died on the cross to save me from my sins. I confess to you from my heart today.

Anyone who prays this prayer will be heard from God and is now saved. What now? Ask God to help you get rid of the old habits and sinful ways of the past, and He will show you the right way. It will not be an overnight but He will help and guide. Those who do so will face negative feedback from others around them. But if you desire, He will direct and lead the way.
