Neither he may contend with Him

In Ecclesiastes, chapter six, verse ten, Almighty God already knows everything that exists, and He knows all about us as human beings. How foolish it is to contend with Him. We ourselves often do not know what is good for us, nor do we know what will happen after we die. How much better it is to trust God and humbly live before Him.

God is, as stated in Revelation one, verse eight, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” God made the heavens and the earth and all that man intends to do and expect to accomplish in this life. He also made man, as in Genesis one, verse twenty-six, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Therefore, God knows the thoughts of everyone. How we think, what our plans are, and the expectations that we have within.

“The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good, as in Psalms fourteen, verse one.” How foolish is a person who thinks they can battle against God, who created all of us? The same creation to turn against God? In debate, as in Job nine, verse three, “If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.” In Job nine, verse four, “He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered?”
