In Psalms, chapter seven, verse one, those who have sincerely committed themselves to God may with all confidence take refuge in the Lord and commit their life situations to Him. Amid unjust or troublesome times, we may place ourselves under the protection of God and appeal to Him based on our faithfulness and righteousness.
The theme verse under The Prayer of a Wronged Man section describes believers and all those who represent Jesus Christ will undergo experiences of accusation, persecution, and humiliation. However, even if the godly did nothing wrong, there still will be some form of blaming against people who serve God in the long run.
Wrongdoing done to a person can be a tragic experience, although they are innocent and created no fault against the opposition. People would have been complaining until now and feel they have a right. However, as believers in Christ, we can use this theme chapter to overcome as a prayer.
The theme title, “In Thee Do I Put My Trust,” is a hymnal. However, the chorus in the congregation sung that is well-known:
In Thee, Oh Lord, do I put my trust
In Thee, Oh Lord, do I put my trust
In Thee, Oh Lord, do I put my trust.
I am the Lord that healeth thee
I am the Lord that healeth thee
I am the Lord that healeth thee.
The words of this song, describe how much the person has their entire being in the hands of the Lord. The repetition of the first three lines indicates how deep the dependence of the believer upon God holding steadfast in faith in God to see them through whatever matter they are facing. The last three lines are the response to the Almighty coming through for His people because He sees their hearts are towards Him and not depending on themselves or anyone else but Him alone.
