I have set the Lord always before me

In Psalms, chapter sixteen, verse eight, believers should seek and cherish an intimate fellowship with God above everything else. The Lord’s continual presence at our right hand brings His counsel, as in verses seven and eleven, protection in verse eight, joy in verses nine and eleven, resurrection in verse ten, and eternal blessings in verse eleven.
Why is it valuable to establish a close fellowship with God above everything else? The answer is to receive everything else. The significant part of understanding fellowship with God is to obtain His favor.
Believers should seek and cherish an intimate fellowship and, above all, will obtain valuable information and advice mainly coming through His Word, the Holy Bible. The other benefits of an intimate fellowship include guidance and protection, which are vital in daily life. Close communion with God from the believer will enable better decision-making for short-term or long-term goals. The close-knit fellowship with God is beneficial at times during our daily commute. He will speak to our inner being to detour from our usual pattern to places from a path that could lead to ungodly circumstances.
The believer to have God always in front and center of their lives will bring peace. “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, as in Philippians four, verse seven. The main thing with God is to keep the heart and mind on the path of righteousness that will avoid the ungodly pitfalls of life. However, despite doing according to the word of God, all believers of the Lord Jesus Christ will be tested. The godly ones who live a clean life and maintain devotion daily to the living God will overcome the obstacles and challenges they encounter because they love God and keep His commandments.
In John fifteen, verse twelve emphasizes this commandment,” This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.” There is a song that goes with this verse:
This Is My Commandment, that You love one another and that your joy may be full
This Is My Commandment, that You love one another and that your joy may be full
that your joy may be full
that your joy may be full
This Is My Commandment, that You love one another and that your joy may be full.
