In Numbers, chapter one, verse fifty-two, the Lord speaks to Moses regarding the Israelites pitching their tents around the tabernacle and every person by their standard.
The organization of the camps of the Israelites was with an inner circle of Levites around the tabernacle. The other tents were on the outer ring of the twelve tribes, with three tribes on each side of the tabernacle. A line of march also was organized so that when the cloud lifted, they could move quickly, and when the cloud settled, they could find their places in the camp without confusion. The Bible teaches organization, not for the organization’s sake but for the smooth operation of the work to complete. The tabernacle in the center symbolizes that the Israelites revolve around the Lord and worship Him as their redeemer.
Today, for believers, the organization of ourselves among our family should have Jesus Christ as the head of our daily living. God is the light of our salvation, and He should be active within our lives each day. When we are about to pursue our agendas for the day, we should begin with God in devotion before going out of our place to commute to wherever we plan to go. During our daytime, we should converse with Him prayerfully from within our spirit or talk like Hannah in the Bible. She moved her lips with no sound or whisper if you have to or whatever communication is comfortable.
The standard is to have God at the center of everything in our lives. Whatever situation we face, we should be looking to Him in prayer and talk to Him concerning it when we experience it at that moment. When a problem occurs where there is a disagreement between you and another person ad it did not end well, that is where we should talk to God right there about it. “Oh God, I just had a conversation where the other person and myself left on bad terms. Please intervene on our behalf, and help us to reconnect and resolve whatever misunderstanding seems to be in the way. Thank you, Lord, Amen.”
