Easter Sunday is Resurrection Sunday among the Christians, a celebration and holiday to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus from the tomb on the third day after His crucifixion. This day acknowledged by other religious denominations as the end of lent and the Easter season. A day for people of God that view the day of rebirth or renewal, and a different outlook.
While other non-believers celebrate with Easter eggs, baked goods, similar to a Thanksgiving event with family and friends. A social opportunity.

Easter Sunday is a day of celebration. To remember that our sins was paid at Calvary in full. That God allowed His only Son to bear our sins on the cross to redeem humanity and give us the opportunity to receive salvation. Then arose in triumph on the third day is enough to be happy about.
This day signifies we have a future eternity through Christ. All we have to do is continue to live according to His word, and not just for today but everyday we should be celebrating, thanking and praising God from inside.
Fact:
Easter Sunday ends the Holy Week. An occasion that does not fall under a set day, but an entire week. For some the commemoration starts earlier. The significance of this day is still respected where not all businesses are functional. Back in the good old days, it was close to a complete shutdown. Thank God the world still acknowledges it (to a certain degree, at least).
