In Psalms, chapter thirty-three, verse six, the theme verse contains an important biblical truth: the union of the power of God’s Word with the power of God’s Spirit (through the operation of faith) released on behalf of His people operates the creative power of God.
The theme under The Lord provides and delivers depicts the believer rejoicing in their salvation. The Lord welcomes His people to do so because they are under obligation to him and have abundant occasions. They will praise God sincerely, affectionately, and with due reverence and thankfulness, as He requires and deserves praise. Singing a new song: not necessarily unheard of, but one fresh from the singer’s heart. Believers express themselves skillfully with a loud noise with thanksgiving in the sight of God with joy.
The word of the Lord is right, and what He says in His word is true. Believers who walk with God in spirit and truth are the ones who live according to His Word. There will be times when the word comes to us that often comes through the Bible, where God mostly communicates with His people. Then there will be situations when God will use a person who might be a family member, relative, neighbor, worker, friend, another believer, stranger, or even someone who may not like you.
The point is that God does not limit His ways of reaching us because our lives are precious: He wants to ensure we hear or read and receive the word itself. Doers of the word of God benefit and receive blessings. What would be the point of receiving a message directed by God and not doing it? Today, many people have received a word that has molded their lives to where they are now. Whether they are good or bad, it is a word they accept or reject, which they continue living as either believers or unbelievers.
