Repentant Heart

heart, sky, clouds

ready to repent to release?

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Psalms 51:1-10

Outer

On the outside looking in, if there is a problem we are experiencing, whether it is personal, conflict with someone else, it can weigh on us. People may see our countenance that we are not able to see. Unless, we carry a mirror to see our face, it will turn some people off whether we care or not. However this could hinder our daily lives from achieving success or happiness. Ok, maybe we already have what we want but not enjoying it. We can pretend but we are just fooling ourselves. How long can we go on like this?

Inner

On the inside looking out, we know we have our issues. We try to handle this with attitude being all macho or tough about it. The only problem with this is it might look cool but what we are really doing is imprisoning our minds. What’s happening is we try our best to ignore it and deal with it later when we are not in the public eye, and it weighs on our minds. This is called mental imprisonment. Until we release or face this issue we will continue to live in this mental cage until we address it even though we are physically free.

FACT

The scripture above is about saying these words daily to help us release ourselves. If you are not a believer, positive words you will need to say out loud to yourself so your ears may hear to feed your body and mind to respond. Why? because it was a problem or conflict we heard that cause us in this shell in the first place. For example, if you had a bad day with not achieving a personal goal, and someone said you failed or not good enough today, your ears heard it and it goes into your system. Either you reject it or receive it. If you do not alleviate it and just walk away, ignoring it, then it is too late because you did not respond to it. You just received it. You must convince myself that I will do better next time around. EITHER SAY “I will do better tomorrow or whenever the next encounter.” If not, your body and mind will have no motivation when you come to that area again. It will be more difficult than it should be. Whispering will not help because even though inside you will hear it, the ears and mind do not. Must declare to block out the fear of conquering the obstacle. It starts by speaking out to change the circumstance, to remove the doubt. Free your mind and the rest will follow. Talk it into existence before you start your day, no matter what, even something negative starts right at the beginning of your day, be determined to be free anyway. Make it a habit to say these words or positive words everyday. We do not mean to open the window of your home or somewhere on the street and yell from the top of your lungs, “hello world! I am conquering blank blank blank today  (whatever situation your concerned about). People will just ignore or think  a screw is loose somewhere up there. Just enough for your ears to hear to give opportunity for change to take place. We may do things unknowingly to somebody and not be aware, that is why saying this psalm will give you reassurance with God, yourself, that you are holding no grudge against anyone and God will see that and you start your day free mind and body.
