Rabshakeh said

In Isaiah, chapter thirty-six, verses four through ten, beginning at verse four, “And Rabshakeh said unto them, Say ye now to Hezekiah, Thus saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence is this wherein thou trustest?” Rabshaketh, the field commander of Sennacherib’s army, attempted to undermine the people’s confidence in the Lord through intimidation, lies, and arguments that the God of Judah was not strong enough to deliver them.
Rabshaketh represents the ungodly, whom Satan uses to deceive potential believers from believing God’s Word to believe his words. Look what happened to Eve in the Garden of Eden in Genesis three. Satan used a serpent to sway her from the words of instruction from God, to accept his word, and look what happened. Rabshaketh, commander for the king of Assyria, mentions Hezekiah’s name to the people around him, to change their perspective from serving the Lord to following the ways of society.
Hezekiah was a godly king of Judah who trusted in the Lord and served Him. The people knew this about the king and intended to do the same. The devil also knew this and attempted to use Rabshaketh to change their minds about Hezekiah and about God. This example is similar to godly people living today. When someone knows the truth about God and His ways, and they strive to serve Him in spirit and in truth, the enemy also sees their potential and makes a strong effort to stop it.
Satan will use anyone and anything to intercept the plan of the believers and the plans of God. However, the godly, the believers, must endure and continue righteously. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour, as in First Peter five, verse eight.
