The blessing of the Lord maketh rich

In Proverbs ten, verse twenty-two, all too often, material wealth in this world is gained through wickedness and greed and is therefore not from God, as in verse two. True riches consist in the blessing of the Lord. Whether we are materially poor or rich, the Lord’s presence and favor are our richest wealth.
The perception today is riches are the door to blessings and favor. True: it seems as though it is a blessing and receives favor, not from God but from man. The theme verse, “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.” The difference between the wealth of the godly and the ungodly is that one attains it through righteous means while the others unrighteously. Therefore, many find themselves not happy as the public expects them to enjoy such a state of wealth.
The second part of the theme verse, “And he addeth no sorrow with it,” means the godly receivers do not have to worry about gaining their abundance dishonestly, no need to have a guilty conscience plaguing their minds, and not think about the law or the authorities coming after them at some point in life. However, the ungodly gain most of their riches wrongfully or through sinful activity and live in the sense of good and bad feelings.
The blessing of the Lord maketh rich because it does not always have to do with money but with those who serve God with a sincere heart and love for Him that they will enjoy richly whatever they desire to do, which is good, will get the best out of all their righteous endeavors. However, the ungodly do not do so, for they will eventually envy those who enjoy such a life and will focus or be very watchful.
