In Proverbs, chapter two, verse ten, only when God’s wisdom enters our hearts our inward motives, desires, and thoughts produce life and power, as in Proverbs four, verse twenty-three, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” To accomplish this, the Spirit of truth must work within our hearts and minds, as in John sixteen, verses thirteen through fourteen, “Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me (Jesus): for He shall receive of mine and shall shew it unto you:” to make God’s commands and ways delight us, as in Psalms hundred and nineteen, verses forty-seven to forty-eight, “And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved. My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.“
The theme title, which is part of the theme verse under The Reward of Wisdom section, expresses that when believers embrace the Word of God inside and meditate on them, the Spirit of truth, which is the Holy Spirit will work on their behalf. However, this can only take place when the heart of that person is righteous before God because the Holy Spirit will not operate within an unbeliever, a backslider, or an unclean vessel that is lukewarm that has one foot in the world and the other foot in the church. A person must be all in with God. “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth,” as in Revelation three, verse sixteen.
