He knoweth our frame

In Psalms, chapter one hundred and three, verse fourteen, God pities His children because He knows their weaknesses and infirmities. Even the best of His followers need His compassion. A father has deep compassion for His children when they fail, suffer, or receive mistreatment, so our heavenly Father hurts when His own are hurting amid trouble, failure, and struggle. Believers must not think that God is distant or uncaring. However, we must remember that His eyes look on us with compassion, and He will help us according to our needs, as in Luke seven, verses twelve through thirteen.

In the theme verse under the Benefits of the Lord section, God knows the situation for every human being, especially His people who depend upon Him. Each believer will undergo physical, emotional, or spiritual conditions that only God can heal and deliver. “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all,” as in Psalms thirty-four, verse nineteen. The challenge for every believer is the response from them that separates the ones who receive deliverance and those who still wait to be delivered. The enemy will tempt the mind of believers to react negatively, blaming God or persevering by giving God thanks and speaking positively, that He will get us through this situation and eventually be victorious.

The devil will attempt to use doubt in every life situation for people not to overcome and cause believers to fall away from trusting God. The battle is in the mind where Satan will strategically bring things to disrupt those who would go to God daily in prayer for guidance, strength, and perseverance. The remedy is to remember what God’s Word says when worry tries to come into our hearts. Jesus used the Word in the wilderness during temptation.
