Save me

In Psalms, chapter sixty-nine, verses one through thirty-six, is the psalm with Psalms twenty-two as one of the most frequently quoted psalms in the New Testament. Psalms sixty-nine repeats as follows: from verse four, found in John fifteen, verse twenty-five, from verse nine, found in John two, verse seventeen, and Romans fifteen, verse three, from verses twenty-two through twenty-three, found in Romans eleven, verses nine to ten, from verse twenty-five, found in Acts one, verse twenty. The author describes a person in despair, suffering greatly in every possible way because of his faithfulness to God and His righteous ways, as in verses seven through twelve. They want to worship God as commanded, as in verses nine through twelve. Tradition assigns this psalm to David, but it may have been written by Hezekiah, as in Second Kings eighteen through twenty, and Second Chronicles twenty-nine to thirty-two, Jeremiah, as in Jeremiah eleven, verse nineteen, and chapter twelve, verse one, or an unknown Jew desiring to build the temple as in verse nine of this theme chapter.

The sufferings of Jesus in this psalm reveal some portions from this chapter. However, the confession of verse five and the curses in verses twenty-two through twenty-eight can not apply to Christ. Jesus bore our sins but did not create any sin. The Son of God did not come to destroy sinners but to save them.

Save Me is the theme title from The Prayer of Deliverance section: This is the cry of every person who experiences a problem that seems impossible to resolve. The believer will cry and believe in God to save their family and relatives from destruction. Anyone who needs saving will need a Saviour, Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He is the only one who can save us from our sins.
