In Psalms, chapter fifty, verse fifteen, the Lord invites all faithful believers to call continually upon Him in times of need and trouble. Since Christ sympathizes with our weaknesses, we can confidently approach the heavenly throne, knowing that our prayers and petitions are welcomed and desired by our heavenly Father, as in Hebrews ten, verses nineteen through twenty. The “throne of grace” is where God’s love, help, mercy, forgiveness, wisdom, spiritual power, spiritual gifts, the fruit of the Holy Spirit, and all we need in any circumstance.
One of the greatest blessings of salvation is that Christ is now our high priest, our mediator who makes the way for believers to pray to the Father in assurance for all areas of need in our lives. God desires to hear our prayers to help us and to have His name exalted as a God who rescues His people.
The faithful believers are commonly those who have a consistent prayer life. The theme verse illustrates the saints of God who call upon the Lord daily are the ones He hears and answers. However, that is not to say He does not answer the prayers of others who are not consistently praying. Isaiah fifty-five, verses eight through nine, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
God sees the heart of everyone and already knows the intentions. Therefore, if a sinner cries out to God for help, The Lord sees right through them and knows their end before He even answers them. Still, there are those people who only call upon Him when they face a problem and yet during their free time, they do not spend time reading His Word,
praying, or praising Him. Therefore, these people find themselves doing other things to get what they want which is the ungodly way.
