He abhorreth not evil

In Psalms, chapter thirty-six, verse four, “evil” refers to basic misbehaving and human depravity. However, the ungodly do not hate evil but accept it as part of life. Hatred of sin is an essential feature of God’s character, as in Proverbs six, verse sixteen, Jeremiah forty-four, verse four, and Habakkuk one, verse thirteen, respectively. It is a fundamental aspect of Christ’s ministry and kingship, as in Psalms forty-five, verse seven, and Hebrews one, verse nine.
For believers, it is not enough for the children of God to love righteousness; they must also hate evil. In Christ’s devotion to righteousness, as in Isaiah eleven, verse five, and His hatred of iniquity in His life, ministry, and death, Christ’s faithfulness to the Father while on earth, as demonstrated by His love of righteousness and hatred of wickedness, is the basis of God’s anointing will come as believers identify with our Master’s attitude toward righteousness and evil.
People may be loving, show kindness, and do good to the lower class. Yet, if they have indignation against wrong, contempt for the world’s immoral ways, zeal for justice, or hatred of evil, they have failed to stand with God or follow the Holy Spirit, as in Galatians five, verses sixteen through twenty-four. In Psalms ninety-seven, verse ten, “Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: He preserveth the souls of His saints; He delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.”
Today, many religious people desire to serve God but in their way of life. Compromising with the world will cause the Lukewarm believers to hear the word of God and the world. Evil is of the devil. Is it a coincidence that the two words “evil and devil” are only separated by the letter “d”? Second Timothy two, verse sixteen, “But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.” Ephesians four, verse twenty-seven, declares, “Neither give place to the devil.” Therefore, to be godly would also mean not giving place to evil.
