In Second Chronicles, chapter thirty-six, verse fifteen, God’s messengers who expose and condemn His people when they conform to the world are motivated by the compassion of God. They preach their messages with the intense hope that none might perish. The superficial compassion of those messengers who bring a word that allows God’s people to keep compromising with the surrounding society is, like the messengers themselves, they are not from God.
Today, believers are for who to believe? Those who desire to serve God will discipline themselves to follow the Word of God. However, the people who want to serve Him but do not control themselves will find their attention to the temptation concerning the things of the flesh and not to the eternal things of God. In Second Timothy four, verse four, “And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”
God will always find a way to get a word to His people because He knows the heart of them. The Holy One can deliver the message to the saints through reading the Bible, listening to the Christian radio stations, or speaking to fellow believers, relatives, neighbors, strangers, or even, at times, our enemies. Believers may even find quotes from the Bible on billboards, written verses on paper, or advertisements on a device. There is no limit on how God can relay the word to His people because He sees and knows their hearts are towards Him. However, the people with one foot in the house of God and the other in the world who are in between are those whom God will use His messengers to reach with compassion. However, it will be up to these Lukewarm people to listen and change their ways to receive. The problem here is if they continue to listen to the false ministers who share the word from the Bible for ungodly means and those who listen receive and accept it instead of shunning it, it will be a difficult challenge to overcome until they acknowledge it.
